However, I guess this is the standard with most smaller travel cameras. The monitor is difficult to see in bright light, and you cannot know if the photo is properly composed. Pros: Easy to use; easy to view & erase pictures already taken; nice size - comfortable to grip; great zoom & lens; takes excellent photos ie. clear & accurateCons: we still prefer an viewfinder.
I owen three Panasonic Cameras. One of the best on the market. The lense, made by Leica, makes a big difference in regards to the picture quality. This one was a gift for my sister. She really likes it.
In bright sunlight, the monitor is hard to see and on ocassion I find myself pushing the menu button with my thumb while handing the camera. I like the zoom capabilites the 10X combined with the digital zoom allows me to take decent pictures even at a far distance. Two things I find annoying at times. Neither one of these things are major issues for me and I would recommend purchasing this camera. I purchased this camera after using one belonging to a friend. I'm very satisfied with the picture quality and the ease of use.
Good price well designed to navigate through the screen. Well designed camera. Has alot of features if you know how to use them. It's intimidating at first, but with some experience with it, it will be worth having.
I thought it was the settings but after reading the manual, it says its audio is on fixed mono.My other cams kodak mx1063, and sony dsc w80, sounded so much better. i got this set from a club store and im really impressed on pic quality. But when i used movie mode, i was surprised when i heard the audio.
